Issues
Transportation
Since being elected in 2013, transportation has been recognized as one of the key issues for Pinal County. In 2017, we decided to let the public decide with the Pinal Regional Transit Plan (RTA) and tax to pay for it. Connectivity roads and mapped a plan to implement these new corridors will allow easier access across the county and attract economic development.
Economic Development
High property taxes is all I hear when traveling the county. One of the best ways to be able to lower taxes is thru bringing in economic development. Since 2013 I have been working with Planning and Zoning to simplify the process of starting a business, because of some of the changes that have happened we are now attracting more businesses than any other county our size. With all the new development somewhere north of 5 billion dollars, we will provide great jobs have diversity in manufacturing and be able to lower taxes.
